This pipe tap comes with pipe style and plug type. It is made of high speed steel, finish steam oxide, number of flutes are 4, size 1/8", pitch 27, NPSF, standard projection, shank diameter 0.234", used for tapping pipe threads, ANSI standards. It has straight pipe taps for pipe or coupling tapping for low-pressure work with the use of a sealer. It is suitable for NPSC and NPSM work. Ideal for use with nonferrous metals.
