This DESKAR K15 uncoated carbide threading insert series contains 16ER external threading inserts and 16IR internal threading inserts. It covers Metric ISO, Whitworth, NPT and BSPT multiple mainstream thread standards, and comes with a full range of pitch specifications to meet diverse thread turning requirements. These inserts are specially optimized for machining aluminum, copper and other non-ferrous metals. Thanks to its uncoated fine grain carbide substrate, it greatly reduces workpiece adhesion and prevents built-up edge during cutting.
