The CME Spiral Point Tap cuts 8-36 UNF internal threads in through holes, where the spiral point geometry pushes chips ahead of the tap instead of back up the flutes. It is made from M2 High-Speed Steel with a Uncoated finish, and is ground with a Plug chamfer, 2 straight flutes, and a Right Hand thread to the H3 pitch diameter limit. Dimensions are 2-3/16" overall length, 13/16" thread length, 0.167" shank diameter and 0.131" square. Supplied 10 pieces per order.
