The CME Spiral Point Tap cuts 1/4"-20 UNC internal threads in through holes, where the spiral point geometry pushes chips ahead of the tap instead of back up the flutes. It is made from M2 High-Speed Steel with a Uncoated finish, and is ground with a Plug chamfer, 2 straight flutes, and a Right Hand thread to the H3 pitch diameter limit. Dimensions are 2-3/4" overall length, 1-9/64" thread length, 0.253" shank diameter and 0.191" square. Supplied 10 pieces per order.
