3" Quick Change (Type R) Zirconia Curved Edge Flap Discs by Black Hawk Abrasives combines the durability and consistency of a flap disc, the quick change convenience of a rolock, a compact size for ease of use in tight areas, and curved edge flaps for versatility of flat or corner grinding without changing your tool. Each curved edge quick change flap disc is made with premium self-sharpening, zirconia abrasive grains, resin on resin bonded atop an X weight poly/cotton cloth. This material is this cut into strips and layered on top of one another in a partially overlapping pattern and adhered to a threaded male, plastic roll-on attachment for rapid fastening (Equivalent to 3M Roloc fastening system). Finally, the edge of each flap is curled, providing these BHA flap discs with their signature fillet weld flap disc shape. This construction allows for consistent cutting action and extremely long useful life because as flaps are worn away, new fresh abrasive grains are exposed to keep on cutting.
